This is a poem I wrote while watching a storm pass by.
Life is like a far-away dream
I can't touch reality
All night I cry and scream
"Do you still love me?"
The touch of the blade
The kiss of the night
I'm stuck in a mess I've made
That I choose not to fight
Do I want to?
I do not know
With all of our corruption
Can our love still grow?
Splashes of rain caress my skin
I look to the clouds and sigh
Trying to hold all this pain in
Is making me want to die
I scream your name
The thunder crashes
It seems this life is all over now
As the rain splashes....
