Electric pulses
and flashing lights
We shine through
florescent eyes.
Free my mind
of all i wish i could do
as the sirens ring
and the night screams.
I can only hear you breathe.
If you say "goodbye"
before the break of day

My words can fail
so i can only hope
that these fleeting seconds and second chances
