Fractured Wings

I can no longer fly with these broken wings
They have failed me once again
Falling out of the sky
I am motionless like the dead
Descending into nothingness
Choking on every cry for help
Today my heart will stop
And shatter what hope I have left

Fractured wings can no longer take me
To where your love takes hold
So tear my heart in two
And end this suffering

Emotions splinter in my face
Plunging deep into my skin
The agony of shear pain
Sends me straight into convulsions
So here is where it ends
Where I can no longer breathe
My lungs fill with blood
Until my veins bleed dry

Fractured wings can no longer take me
To where your love takes hold

And end this suffering

Is there a way to save me?
A way to heal my wings
To let me fly away
From these haunting memories
No longer a ghost from your past
Yet still I am deceased
Forsaking a world
That will never rest in peace
