Thank You Friend



You entered my world by random fate,
And since you’ve brought much light and life to me.
With the brownest of eyes, you’ve shown me much comfort and warmth.
With softest of speech, you’ve portrayed your charm, wit, and strengths
With tender care, you’ve added happiness, sincerity, and a hope that the light rests at the end of each dark tunnel.
Please know the thankfulness for at all times you’ve been by my side through these tunnels;
Our friendship has become a part of my world now;
And it rests within me in its special place;
Within my being, my life, and in my heart,
Your name sits right beside your smiling face,
A face that reminds me of how dark the tunnels had been before we met.
