| I remember the days... when my mind was intoxicated with thoughts of you... thoughts of a forever with only you... a paradise where our love existed... I laugh as I look back... I was merely hoping on a daydream... I knew that this dream would never be part of my reality... blinded by my love..I thought of this farce of a relationship that we had... I never thought i'd be jealous... jealous of seeing you with another... I asked myself...why him? why not me? I smile as my heart weeps... I could have loved you... I could have died for you... I could have given my very soul to you... but...no matter how intense my love for you was... we could never be... so now i wave goodbye, i smile as my heart weeps... as the night arrives, and the two of you kiss... I walk away... never looking back... all this time i wasted... on nothing more than a stupid fantasy... phantom of my love... I unmask you... as you lose your allure... my love for you dies... |
