'Twas the night before Valentine’s
when all through the house
not a creature was stirring,
not even a mouse.
His Sport Socks were hung in the bathroom with care
In hopes that St. Valentines soon would be there.
Our children were snuggledd all soft in their beds,
While visions of candy hearts danced in their heads.
And I doing taxes had soon reached my cap,
and just settled down for an IRS slap.
When off of the couch there came such a clatter,
I sprang from my desk to see what was the matter.
I ran down the hallway tying my sash,
and tripping on toys, spilled all of my cash.
And then there he was, a most awesome sight,
My hunky husband whom I love, alright?
He went straight to the bathroom my hunky Hal,
There was no question, the visit had come from St. Val
All his socks were filled with fun manly junk,
That’s what he liked, my sports loving hunk.
He placed his hand on his manly lips,
and blew me a wonderfu Valentines kiss.
And I heard him say as he ran out of sight,
“Happy Valentines to all” on this magical night.
