Revenge is Sweet by Twilight Sadist

His dying hands touched my pale face
This image, his feeling, I could not erase
Why should he die at such an early age?
He wasn’t even able to complete his pilgrimage

Just because he was a bit peculiar
Just because he wasn’t so familiar
They treated him like an outcast
They made sure his life didn’t last

I saw it with my own eyes
A spear struck him, as cold as ice
Straight to the heart, deep and through
How would it feel if it was you?

I laid beside him, eyes full of tears
My heart was full of sorrow and fears
I clenched my fists as anger flowed in me
Is this really happening, how could this be?

He looked at me with caring eyes
As he was led to his demise

Three words, he tried to say
But I stopped him, knowing as he lay
That exerting even a bit of force
Would hurt him so, of course

On his lips, I placed a finger
On his lips, bruises still linger
I told him, “I love you with all my heart”,
That’s when he started to depart

“If only, if only you knew,
How I really felt about you”
Suddenly he said, “I love you, too”
Could, could this really be true?

Then he was gone, just like that
Leaving me alone, as I sat

I only you knew the pain that I held inside
If only you knew the secrets I could not confide
If only you knew how I felt, as into the darkness, I fell
Too bad, though, I never had the chance to tell

I was left there alone, abandoned, unaided
The little shard of happiness I had soon faded
Why did you leave my side, why, I ask, why?
Why can’t you tell even a single lie?

You told me you won’t be here forever
I couldn’t believe, I could never
But sooner or later, I had to accept
Because now, in eternal sleep he slept

It was in front of my eyes
I couldn’t take, they were just lies

Then it hit me like a train
I felt something, something like pain
A horrid fact struck me
He’s dead, he, I will never see
I cried my emerald eyes out
I wanted to yell, I wanted to shout

But in my throat, something caught
Refuge, a haven, was all I sought
I found no peace, not in this Earth
All I felt was pain and hurt

Then I felt something crawl up my sleeve
No matter how much I tried, it would not leave
When I looked down, I saw his blood crawl up my arm
Somehow, I knew it was safe, it would cause no harm

I let it crawl up to my chest
It was an uneasy feeling, it simply would not rest
It stopped when it reached my scar
My birthmark, just under my collar

I felt it pierce my skin
I did not fight, for knew I would not win
I let it flow freely through my veins
As it went, banishing all my weaknesses and pains

When I looked up, my eyes were red
“You’ll die if you get in my way”, was what they said
My eyes were already hollow
It showed no emotion, only hatred and sorrow

These emotions echoed in my red orbs
I felt lifeless, just like corpse
Even though I am left this way
I still felt like I was going to sway

I sensed power deep inside my soul
My soul, now as black as coal
It overpowered all my senses
Breaking through my solid fences

Self-control was barely seen
On a tree’s trunk, I needed to lean
When I looked at my hands, they were shaking
Every part of my body was aching

My focus, I was quickly losing
Dark and light was slowly fusing
It was seriously damaging my mentality
Bringing me to the brink of insanity

I lost my control completely
All my sagacity disappeared swiftly
All my hatred I released
Whatever I did, it would not cease

I looked at the village below the hill on which I stood
The village that started this infernal feud
Anger burned in my eyes red no longer green
I thought in my mind, “Let the mass massacre… begin”
