Walking through the beach of black sand,
holding every breathe in my hand.
I look behind me to see the ocean,
as it takes that last foot print from me.
Watching it wash away as I stand hear to stay.
The only memory of life is the one to suffice,
that day life's crooked sidewalk, gave me such a memory.
When time stood still and you could hear the pin drop,
of the every breathe of the women and men who feared not.
As the life and pulse they had disappeared with out a tear drop.
We all stand hear today and listen as we say
"We are the home of the free and the land of the brave",
forever your memory will stay, but not of the anguish that day
but the fight that we will not fray, for this is our land
and we will come to you with a waving fist and say
United for which it stands, we will not be diss banned.
Listen to our angry roar as we come to your front door
