The Battle of Gog and Magog





1. It happens when Israel proclaim Jesus as the true Messiah. 

A)  They proclaim Jesus as Savior after the Battle of Gog and Magog. ( Russia )
Ezekiel 38-39

B) So when does this war take place before or after the rapture?
         
         b.1) Revelation 20: 7-9 indicate the Battle of Gog and Magog as being after the millennial reign as the satanic rebellion.
         
         b.2) This would indicate that the Jewish people do not repent and proclaim Jesus as the messiah until after the rapture after the tribulation and after the millennium

         b.3) Ezekiel 38: 10-11 say that this war will take place when Israel has no walls, who are in peace, and are dwelling in safety. If this is true it can’t happen until Israel signs the 7 year peace treaty with the Anti-Christ. There is no way Israel would be unprepared for war unless they had a World power protecting them. Ten of the worlds kingdoms is probably enough to make any one feel safe.

         b.4) Ezekiel 38:12 we see the reason the war takes place. “ To take plunder and take spoil”  and to take the “navel” ( center ) of the earth.
         
         b.5) Why do they need this? Isn’t there enough in their country? Jesus himself says in Mathew 24:7  “and there shall be famine” when speaking of the end time to his disciples. Yet Gog goes to Israel to get food. So does Israel although there is famine through out the world have food this time around? Yes. Ezekiel 38:12 “ The people who are gathered out of all nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in  the midst of the land. Why could Israel have so much when everyone has so little in a time of famine? Potash. A mineral deposit made naturally in the Dead Sea.
Potash is used as a fertilizer.

b.6) We find a clue as to when this will take place when Ezekiel says “ It shall be in the latter ( meaning end ) days that I bring you amongst my land” Ezekiel 38:16
End of days last of days would be the last days. When would there be last days of this earth after the one thousand years? It can’t happen in the middle of the tribulation and still happen in the end of days because there would be another thousand years
(360,000) days. If it is in the end of days there can’t be another 360,000 of them.
Which would mean it has to happen after the millennium. Closer to Armageddon?

Ezekiel 38:16 “It will be in the latter days I will bring you amongst my land, that the heathen ( translated gowy meaning foreign nation ) may know me.” When this happens the way for the nations to know would for them to be there. Revelation 20:7-8 All the nations are gathered for battle, in the battle of Armageddon. They to are devoured with fire. Coincidence?  Or the same war?
