Listen this cold winter night
Hear my pleas as they take shape and fly
Away from you, and all that you stand for
Away from those that I love and so adore


This thin thread, I hold onto for dear life
But the weight of the world, that comes at such a steep price
What I don't get is why all of this is happening
What I need to know is what makes other lives so worth living


Somethings just begs for understanding

Then again, I never really did get to say goodbye
