One comes from another
thoughts build till they’re seen.

         When you have a thought
         that is nice, write it down.
         If it’s kindled by love
         make it easily found.

Bright, glowing love
starting out as a thought,
but written in words
can mean quite a lot.

         Words can bring beauty,
         a song to the heart;
         but shown to be action,
         now that’s where to start.

Thoughts are so fleeting                              
they build into words,
and sometimes those words
are actually heard.

         But deeds are more lasting,
         they show beyond doubt,
         what thoughtful words spoken
         are really about.

So take up your thoughts,
your words and your deeds,
and plant them with others
as though they are seeds.

         You may be surprised,
         yes, really you might;
         sometimes what you plant
         grows huge overnight.
