Redemption

Once from the depths of sin my soul did cry.

"I can rescue you!" He did reply.

"With whom am I speaking?" I did say.

"It is I, the life, the truth, and the way."

"Why should you care how i feel deep inside?"

"You are my child, from me you cannot hide. I'm all that was, that is, and is to come. If you'll take my hand, I'll show you how it was done:
Here i healed the sick and gave sight to the blind. Apart from me, there's no life you'll find. There is no rest for the sinsick soul. I'm the only way out. I've already paid the toll. See that hill, that's me in the middle. I suffered, bled and died that you might be filled. See that tomb, there i lay just for you. And in the air did i rise to prepare a place for you. It is the Son of God with whom you are speaking. Believe my report with you I am pleading. It is I who can restore your lost condition. If you'd only believe, I'd give you a mission. So, what do you say? Will you take my words and apply to your heart what you've seen and heard?"

"Oh yes LORD, now I see. YOu did all of this just for me! Father, give me living water that i might be free. Becmoe the savior of my heart, my everything. Only with you is there joy, let my praises ring. Only with praises to you, Jehovah, may my lips sing. My savior, my redeemer, forgive me of my sin. Oh God," I cry. "Cleanse my soul within! Free me from the desires of my flesh. Ungodly desires for love, I now confess. I pray to you; that you would renew my spirit. I will no longer give myself over to Satan. I know there'll be some out there who'll be hatin'. The words I've written. THe words they'll read. THis was the great commission, now I'll spread your seed. I'll be a city on a hill top, for the whole world to see. Give me strength to continue throughout each day. to spread your word. In the name of your son i pray."
