This is a suicide poem.
To lose him would be the death of me.
I don't deserve him, so why am i still here?
Why does he love me?
Why do i love her?
Why can't I let go of the rage inside of me?
Why do i desire for the death of me to come?
Death's knockin' on my door.

"Don't let him in!"

"Oh let him in, get the knife!"

The war of the world inside me
So what do you do when you want to be with him,
but you dont deserve him,
when you haven't been worthy,
when all cause is lost to keep his love?
Yes, to lose him would be the death of me.

Now death's knockin' on my door.
Should I open it and let the blood flow?
Should i lock it and let these feelings rage?
I lock the door with my mind.
Death is too strong.
The lock breaks.
Death has found me.
My last breath whispers,
"I loved him with my heart,
"I loved her with my mind,
"I lost him
"and that was the death of me."
I lie there cold on the floor;
the blood no longer flowing.
When death comes knockin' on your door,
I plead, don't let him in.
Don't let go of the one you love with you heart.
Do not love with your mind.
Letting go of him could be the death of you.
Don't let him in when death comes knockin' on your door.
