A Weak World

People are so weak.

Some people live in lies
just so everyone will think
that they are honest.

People refuse to fight
so they can appear strong.

If you tell someone that they are a slave
they will do whatever you wish to prove they aren't.

The truth is that they are all slaves.
We have forgotten what freedom is.
You are right, it does look like freedom.
It's not.

It is submission.
People will think you are free if you give in,
more free than them anyway.

But in actuality, everyone betrays themselves
for the privilege to bow to someone else
who kneels to another person...

We should all be ashamed.
Or maybe we shouldn't
... I am.
