How The Night Complements The Day

The day retires when..
The wind is blowing the white cloud aside..
Giving way to the bright red horizon
Silhouette of sunset.. replacing the daylight

As the sun glides away.. gracefully..
The moon slowly shows up from behind the evening cloud
Serenity of the night.. bringing peace to earth

Then, for a while..
The world will move at a passive rhythm
Allowing the heart and the mind to work more closely in harmony

As the moon climbs higher.. silently..
The night blends deeper with the quietness of the sky
Shadow of daytime’s hardship.. disappearing into the cheerful twinkle of the stars

And the day starts again when..
The wind is blowing the night cloud aside..
Getting the world ready for the bright sparkle of dawn to enter a new day
Welcoming the next battle for survival.. achieving the dream of becoming a better being..
