I'm so inspired by rainbows. This poem was also intended to be lyrics for music.
If a rainbow
Would bring me gold
I’d follow it till I grow old

High up mountains to the clouds
So much I’d learn above the crowds
Like life’s free pleasures
More than gold’s treasures
And of all the possessions that I would hold
The least important would be gold

If a rainbow
Would bring me gold
I’d follow it till I grow old

To the valleys and deep blue sea
So much freedom it brings to me
Like paths I’d make
That others take
And of all my possessions bought or sold
The least important would be gold
