Dark Feelings

Im slipping back
To a place I don’t want to be
The darkness engulfs my mind
Please someone save me

I can’t breathe
Im nothing once more
I scream and scream
No one can hear me

Help me please
Release me from this nightmare
From which I know I cannot escape
It’s pulling me in

I reach out feel for comfort
There’s nothing there
Just the darkness
I am alone

Once again I cry for help
I find that I can’t
I see no point
No one can help me

I curl up and cry
Im so numb
I’ve succumbed to the darkness
Im wrapped securely in its grips

I find myself in a place I don’t what to be
This time im there for good
I’ve slipped back
For eternity
