------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was a typical spring morning in Seoul and Jang Eun Sae is sitting in front of the computer in the small and paper-jammed office of a small publishing firm in Seoul, the Jokdo Publishing House, wherein she works as a delivery girl, delivering papers in the morning and evening in her basket-adorned bicycle. Everyone in the neighborhood calls her the Pedal Pusher because she can always be seen in her bicycle. Right now, only Eun Sae and the secretary, Jeong Yoo Ri, are left in the office while their old and funny manager, Mr. Hong, is out.

Eun Sae can't seem to take off the smile in her face while typing in front of the computer. Yoo Ri was frowning while looking at her.

"Ya," Yoo Ri suddenly said. "I didn't know typing a paper now will bring a smile to a person's face."

Eun Sae looked at Yoo Ri and smiled, "Oh, I'm not doing a paper work. I'm sending a message to my cyber friend."

"Cyber friend?" Yoo Ri asked.

Eun Sae nodded and Yoo Ri rushed to her side and stared at the computer too. She gasped when she read all the silly, sweet messages of a guy named Jin Woo to Eun Sae.

"Oh mo, " Yoo Ri gasped in wonder. "How could a handsome guy like him like you? Tell me."

The innocent-faced Eun Sae smiled and looked up at Yoo Ri.

"He doesn't really know what I look like. I am using an actress' pic."

Yoo Ri was shocked and almost fell out of her seat.

"What? Oh mo...ya!! Jang Eun Sae! Are you crazy?"

Eun Sae smiled again as she stared back at the computer. A foolish sparkle shining in her expressive eyes.

"Oh, he will never know," she said. "And besides, the actress I'm using is not really popular anyway."

Yoo Ri shook her head in disagreement and scoffed as she went back to her seat. Just then the door threw open and in came Mr. Hong with a grave look on his face. They all looked at him.

"Mr. Hong, you look sullen," Yoo Ri asked.

Mr. Hong sighed as he sat down in his swivel chair and rubbed his forehead.

"Yes I am," he said lightly. "Our firm's really running out of budget now. In a month or two, no one will get orders from us and eventually, we'll have to close down."

The two girls looked at each other in shock and Eun Sae smiled at him.

"Don't worry Mr. Hong," she said cheerfully. "The firm will not close down. We'll get out of this situation lightly...we'll do our best. Right Yoo Ri?"

Mr. Hong and Yoo Ri just look at Eun Sae and looked at each other in return.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eun Sae skidded out of the office with her bicycle with a stack of papers for delivery in the basket in front. Just then Su Tae Sung stepped up in front of her with a lunch box in hand. Eun Sae scoffed and closed her eyes in shock and then glared at him.

"Ya! Su Tae Sung!," she said. "How can you be so suprising? You just appear out of nowhere. You really make me scared."

Tae Sung smiled at her, how he love to see her cute face annoyed and her mouth pout like that.

"Did I scare you that much nuna?" he asked. "I just brought you dinner. I know you'll be out all night making deliveries so I figured out I should bring dinner for you."

Eun Sae made a face and grabbed the lunch box and opened it and then smiled suddenly. But most of all, Tae Sung love to see her smile.

"Bulgogi?" she looked up at Tae Sung who is still smiling down at her and she smiled back. "Thanks a lot Tae Sung. At least, I'll not spend my money for dinner somewhere."

Eun Sae hopped on to her bicycle while putting the lunch box in the basket in front of her. She looked back at Tae Sung who is still standing behind her.

"I'll see you later. Ok? Bye!"

Just as Eun Sae's about to pedal down the road, Tae Sung called her.

"Nuna!"

Eun Sae stopped her bike and looked back and saw Tae Sung running towards her. He took a grip of the bicycle and Eun Sae looked at him.

"Get off," he said suddenly.

She creased her forehead and was too weak that Tae Sung made her get off the bicycle.

"Ya...,"she said weakly. "What are you doing? Ya! Stop fooling around! I still have lots of work to do." She's impatient now.

Tae Sung smiled at her as he looked at her.

"I'll help you out tonight. I don't want you to go all alone."

She was surprised. He gave her a mocking face and so she hopped on the bicycle behind him and they sped down the road together. For the entire time they were doing the delivery on the neighborhood, Eun Sae kept on taking a peek at Tae Sung who seems to enjoy the work. She mustered all her courage to ask him.

"Tae Sung," she said silently. "Why do you have to follow me all the way to Seoul?"

He smiled and answered casually, "Because I don't want you to feel alone here."

Eun Sae just smiled and shook her head.

"But I guess it's better if you just go back home to Gangwon-do and study again," she said.

"No," was Tae Sung's stubborn answer. "I'm not going to leave you all alone Nuna. I'll stay with you here and that's final."

With that, Tae Sung pedaled harder that caused the bicycle to sped faster and made Eun Sae hold tightly to him. Tae Sung smiled and thought silently, "It feels so good when you're holding me this way."
