Such shame!  My reputation blackened irretrievably. 

“I never intended this, not once.”

It began with impertinence; nay, a whim!  Procrastination, though, became my fall.  A simple task once neglected raged into dreadful life.  I haltingly revisit my unsettling imperfection, life ebbing out of control.

“Oh, that God himself could save me from these late fees!”
