Walk of Faith |
I’m on a Walk Not just a simple stroll in the park. I’m on a Walk It’s best to keep my head up and out of the dark. I struggle, but I still Walk. It’s easy…I mean it’s hard, but I still walk. The path seems to “Y” and split a lot. So, if I’m lost I try and get back on the right track. There are more and more Rocks and Stones up under my feet. They get in the way; they hurt and make me weary. I’m on a Walk It seems to go on forever. I’m on a Walk I know I should go on but I MUST STOP. At first it felt good to finally stop. But now I cannot imagine getting back up. So, for days I just sat. There on a big hard Rock, I SAT. One day I looked back down my path. I saw an old man Walking my same steps. He came right up to me and I noticed; He had a BOOK in his hand. There were no introductions no idle chitchat. He just motioned to me and we started to Walk. He told me about his BOOK and all the stories that are inside. He told me that he too was on a Walk, And yes sometimes got tired. He gave me his BOOK and at the next “Y” He went to the Left and I went to the Right. I’m on a Walk It’s still the same path, but now I have my BOOK. I’m on a Walk When I see others on my path, I tell them. I’m on a Walk, With the Lord God Almighty! 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. |
