Ryan and Haley's Adventure

Ryan and Haley are brother and sister who love to go on little adventures. One bright sunny day
they set out to find the perfect place to have a picnic.
As Haley pushes through the big tall flowers, she saw a magical place! The lake was bright blue!
The leaves on the trees were green. Haley says “this is a perfect spot to have our picnic!”
While waling down a path, Ryan says to Haley “wow look at those beautiful tall flowers!” As he
moved the flowers aside, he saw this beautiful place. Haley says,” what are you look at?” “Haley come
here!”
They set their red blanket down on the ground and took out all the food to eat. They were having
so much fun eating their peanut butter sandwiches when all of a sudden a huge gust of wind came and blew
the basket right into the lake!
Haley cried “Oh no!” “what do we do?” says Ryan.
Then they heard a rustle from the bushes. They turned around and there was a cat sitting right
next to some flowers. “Hi, My name is Frank. Do you need some help?” “My name is Haley, this is my
brother Ryan. We were having a picnic and our basket fell into the water!”
“Oh I can help you!” said Frank. “Lets gather some sticks an we can make a raft” “Good idea
Frank” says Ryan.
They started to gather wood and made a huge raft. Haley, Ryan and Frank all jumped on the raft
and started down the lake in search of the picnic basket.
Haley says “ I am starving! I wish that I had some jellybeans”. Ryan says “ here Haley I have
some in my pocket ”.He have one to Frank and Haley. One jellybean slipped out of his hand and fell right
into the lake. It started to melt away.
All of a sudden the lake started to turn pink! Ryan said “It tastes like Strawberry Milk! That is my
favorite!” As they start to look around them, they see that the red and yellow flowers are turning into
gumdrops and twizzlers. “Wow” says Frank.
Now the bright green trees are turning into lollipops! “ I love Marshmallows!” says Ryan as he
reaches down for a bite of a marshmallow rock. Frank says, “This is unbelievable!”
Ryan says “ hey look! It’s our picnic basket!” “finally” say Haley. They all cheer “’Hooray”
“Haley, I am kind of tired and it is getting late.” “okay Ryan, Let’s go home now. It has been a long day.
Haley says “but which way?” “I can help you!” said Kelly. Kelly was hiding in a patch of yellow
flowers. “HI, I am Kelly. I can fly you home if you want.” “you can fly? ”Ryan asked. “yes I can. I have
wings”.
‘Jump on!’ Kelly said. Ryan and Haley said “Goodbye Frank. Thank you!” “Goodbye
Everyone! Hope to see you again” Frank said as he waved goodbye and watched them fly away. They
flew over rooftops and over the bright blue lake
They both said “ Goodbye Kelly. Thank you” as they arrived at their house.
“Time for bed: says Haley. :I can not wait till our next adventure!” Ryan says as he closes his
eyes and goes to sleep. “ I can not wait either. Sweet Dreams Ryan.”
