Love or something like it

“You took my heart from the moment I saw you, and no matter what you did I loved you. I’m not supposed to love you but I can’t help it. Your beauty is not only on the outside but also dwells within. Your eyes are like the ocean, dark and sometimes dangerous but all at the same time calming. Every time I see you I lose a breath, my heart stops for that second I look upon your face. I can’t help but long for you and hope that one day we can be with each other, also when I’m around you, you make me want to be better than I am, you make me see what a jerk or fool I can be and you show me that love can and will always get you through. But most of all you have shown me that God has truly blessed me more than some people, not to brag but I have a mansion when some have a cardboard box. I have food when so go hungry; you would think I would be happy with all that. I used to think I was until you showed me I still had one thing missing. Which was love. I had everything any man or any person for that matter could ever want but what are possessions without love. What I have outside means nothing, because that’s only going to make me temporarily happy. But you, you could make me happy forever.”
