This man of mine

This man that I know, this man that I see,
Well I love him, and he loves me.
He say’s “You’re the one, mine forever”,
But how do I know he’s not just being clever.
It started with a little, wine and dine
And became something bigger, this man of mine.

This man that I know, well he’s my best friend,
He’s there for me, and will be till the end.
He say’s “Whatever you need, you know I’m there”,
He’s one best friend I’ll never want to share.
I don’t believe in Horoscopes, but if I checked my sign
It’d say I picked right, this man of mine.

This man that I know, well he’s my one true love,
He’s at the top of my list, with no one above.
He say’s “You’re the one that I love, till the end of time”,
To let that love go would just be a crime.
Don’t you just think, his love is a big line,
Cause I believe in him, this man of mine.

To this man that I know, I’m the love of his life
And one day I wish to become his wife.
I say “Everyday I love him, more and more”,
And about nothing have I ever been so sure.
So forever will I be grateful, our worlds could intertwine
And forever will I be with, this wonderful man of mine.
