My Virtual Real Estate

After http://www.GoDaddy.com got my attention, I realized how easy and relatively inexpensive it is to own a web site. As a writer, I've taken on a personal challenge to come up with good name, and hopefully sell the idea for a profit. It seems most buyers would appreciate something being up on the site before they buy it; I want to master the beginning of basic web page building--and that's ending up being quite the challenge.

I realized I could set up a sort of check list for myself here. Most of what I write about these domains is kind of thinking out loud. I'll share what I've learned to date, and what I need to know. Sometimes, I get so involved that I forget what I'm doing. I think I have 40 sites as of this date. Some are earning advertising revenue--not much but it's a start.

My idea was to build web sites with my writing, then get bid click advertising sert up for income. I'm not expecting millions, but it would be nice to make enough to cover the monthly animal grocery bill.
