The moon has revealed her heart,
its glow intensifies the sadness.
The coldness of the night;
a metaphor of her emptiness.
The shadow of her heart
lies helpless on the ground.
The beams of reality shine on her soul,
this comforts her in some strange way.
The last moon.
The last saddened moon.
She stands in the field where the light can hit her.
She has moved from the darkness,
where the light of the moon could not touch her.
It is painful, but necessary.
A tear for her sorrow.
A sign for her pain.
A sense of strength for her endurance, and love for herself.
Love... something she hasn't had, for herself, in a long time.
She needed this moon.
She turns in retreat to slumber, as she whispers up to the sky,
"Thank you, for bringing my heart to this light."
