Babies in the market.

The slogan in today's commercial world is 'catch them young' and the younger the better. A recent 'Baby Show' aired on one of the regional language channels had me wondering at the lowest level of intelligence sported,nay not by the babies but by the sponsors and the 'reigning judges' pediatricians' to be exact who whilst supervising the activities of the children ranging from two and three year olds. The children at this stage are supposed to be innocent totally unaware of the vagaries of the world. It is hardly right that we, as responsible adults to drag and involve these little 'bundles of joy' into the morass' of modernity and destroy the basic innocence they come into this world!
