I Deliver the Flowers

Today I deliver messages of love
From lovers, from friends and from up above
I'll see the beautiful faces
Filled with love and God’s graces

The faces are striking
As they see what they’re liking
Their smiles fill the air
And erase many cares

It’s a small enough gift
To bring such a lift
To those who felt in the dark
Making their day a little less stark

The joy that I'll see
Oddly fills me with glee
It may begin solution
For what brought disillusion

Make my day what I will
I can choose not to spill
The sorrow and sadness
But share moments of gladness

Amid craziness, traffic and rush
I see people gush
They have such a power
When I deliver the flowers
