The Gift I Gave You

I reach my hand out to the fog,
To help out someone who is there,
It doesn't matter,that I'm tired as a dog,
In fog you'll need me near.

To guide you up into the light,
To start your life again.
Then I'll be back into the night,
And take off all your pain.

Then you shall live again,
A life you never knew.
But in the dark I'll start taking away,
What I just gave to you.

But stop me now,you can,
Just say that you don't need it.
