                                                    Introduction

  Alicia was born in a male body and spent her early childhood living a nightmare. Just as Goliath came morning and night; so did the devil. Thoughts, actions and frustration started in the morning and the devil was outside the window each night. Alicia knew just what he looked like. Both in the seen and the unseen. And her trust in Jesus was all she had.
  She didn't understand why she had such thoughts, feelings and emotions. Everytime she sung a Christmas carol, heard about Jesus or visited a church something stirred within her. She didn't understand it but it gave her strength. Her mother's word of advice returned in her darkest hours. "Trust the Lord with all of your heart and he will never let you down."
  Alicia's battles within herself would drag on for about 40 years. Faith and doubt; highs and lows. Good times and bad. There were times when her thoughts and inner emotions would drive her to the point of suicide. Each time there was that presence of an unseen hand to bring her out of her darkest despair. That visitation of a thought about fighting one more day. That gentle feeling of love and peace that would sweep over her being and reassure her that the Lord knew her problems and had everything in control.
  Days turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months. Months turned into years. The little girl became a woman even though the world never witnessed it. Those girlish thoughts of childhood became womanly thoughts of adulthood. Those visitations of the devil in her mind and day to day life continued to haunt her while that presence of what she only knew to be the Lord saved her time and again. Each time she came to the brink of despair and the portal of suicide that feeling of peace and love carried her through one more time.
  One day she opened her Bible just as in times past and it all became crystal clear. The scriptures unfolded to her as never before and there was a King of kings and a Lord of lords that spoke to her heart revealing the reason for the way she was and manifesting who He is.
  Alicia's life would never be the same. She would be loved of the Lord and hated by every man. She would be blessed with spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ while the world thought of her as demon possessed. She would know that she could never pass judgment on another person.
  She would be sent to her own but many would know her not. Many would reject her. The servant is not above his Master! The maid is not above her mistress! As they hated her Lord without a reason they would hate her as well!
