A veteran tries to move on with his life and finds far more that he expected.
Part Six

Rebbecca Webster had just stepped out of the shower when her cell phone rang. She grabbed a towel, wrapping it around herself, and walked out of the bathroom. She teased her wet hair as she crossed the room to the bedside table. She eyed the half sleeping form that lay on the bed. The guy rolled over a bit to watch her through droopy eyes. He was naked and the bed sheet only partly covered him. She flipped the phone open and turned her back to him.
         “Hello?”
“Ms. Webster? It's Brady Ellerman. We met yesterday.”
“I remember. Are you calling to talk about the employment offer?”
“Yes. When can we meet to discuss it?”
Rebbecca paused thinking for a moment. She looked out her bedroom window seeing the light starting to catch the Pacific Ocean. “Why don't we meet for breakfast, my treat.”
“I'm fully capable of paying for myself.” Brady retorted.
“Suit yourself.” she responded. “How about Renee's on the pier? About nine?”
“I know it. See you then.”
She hung up and turned to face the bed, finding her guest wide awake and staring at her in awe.
         “Who was that?” he demanded.
“A business contact.” she answered simply.
“I was a business contact! Are you going to fuck him too!?”
“If I have to. It's nothing personal.”
“I suppose I'm just business as usual.” he snapped.
“Of course, Darling.” She said dropping the towel and starting towards him. His mouth opened in amazement. He was shocked and intrigued at the same time. The sight of her advancing towards him sent waves of anticipation and he felt himself growing. She was athletic in build with long muscled, yet exquisite legs. She had a flat stomach that showed just a hint of a six-pack under the taunt flesh. Her breasts were a B-cup and firm to the touch. Her shoulder length brown hair had just a touch of auburn. She tossed it back with a flip of her head, sending little droplets into the air. She worked hard to keep her body in peak physical condition and she knew she looked great.
She reached the edge of the bed and crawled onto it, pushing him back into a laying position. Her lips found his as she straddled him, his now raging hard-on brushing against the inside of her thigh.
“No complaints now,” she whispered, “just enjoy this for what it is.”

Brady sat down across from Rebbecca in the small waterfront Bistro. She smiled at seeing him today. She noted that he at least had shaved, even though he still needed a hair cut.
         “Good Morning.” he said.
“Thank-you for meeting with me.” she replied.
A waiter arrived and handed them the breakfast/brunch menus and they ordered before talking.
“So what is the job you are offering.” asked Brady.
She smiled a coy smile. “We are a Protection service that hires out to diplomats, visiting delegates, private contractors that kind of thing. We not only provide Bodyguard services, we also handle Estate security.”
“Why are you offering this to me. Why would I be interested?”
“Actually,” she began, “your name was given to us by a friend of yours.”
“Really?” he asked feigning surprise. “Who might that be.”
“I can't share that with you now.” She said. “Our business depends on a certain level secrecy.”
Brady nodded pretending to be interested. “So your run-in with me was not a coincidence.”
Rebbecca nodded. She looked him over, getting a read on his interest. “After breakfast, maybe you'd like to see some of the benefits we offer, you can also ask a few questions in a more,”she paused for dramatics, “secure, location.”
Brady looked at her for a moment. Then conceded. He was in. All he had to do was wait it out. Eventually he'd discover what was really going on.

Dumont pulled off the headphones he was wearing while the parabolic mike recorded the conversation between Brady and Rebbecca.
“What do you think?” asked another Agent.
“He's in.” said Dumont. “Although, if he doesn't play his cards right, he'll blow the lid right off this thing.”
Dumont wanted to wire Brady, but decided that there might be security measures if Brady got to the point that he was taken to their office. It wouldn't due to have the investigation blown after 2 years. Not while they finally had a chance to get someone else inside. Someone that wasn't close to being compromised. Dumont sat back and watched the video. She was flirting with him. Touching his hand or arm occasionally as they talked, laughing at all the right places, giving him coy glances backed with a smile. She knew that she was doing and she was damn good at it too. She could have any man wrapped around her finger in just a few minutes. Dumont just hoped Brady wasn't falling for it. Later in the day after Brady was alone, Dumont would press him for what he found out. Until then all they could do was wait.
