Body in the water

A flicker of my eye allows me to feel. Becoming aware of my surroundings of my changes in slumber. No longer am I content in the warmth of my bed. But instead hearing of soft hollow sounds. I hear the pounding of my heartbeat so loud now . I become frightened to wake from the dream that surrounds me now.
A flicker of my eye allows me to stir. As I try to stir free from the covers that surround me tugging to break free my hands and feet. Aware of the coolness that surrounds me now in disbelief of where am I ?
A flicker of my eye allows me to open and see that I am no longer in the warmth of my bed but at the bottom of a body of water where creatures swim from the sea above me. I try to scream but no sound I make comes out. Struggling to break free a calmness overcomes me. Voices tell me I am going home, they light a bright light for me to follow them to the above and I will be free................For Natalie Holloway
