It's a poem about humans and our innate urge to blame someone else for our short-comings..
The future I once envisioned
Is right here and now
I fear I haven’t done much
Nothing to be proud of….
All the dreams I had,
All the plans I made,
My desires and wishes,
Every single one of them
Have all come to naught…
I wonder why this is,
For I knew I could do them all
I had the brains for it
Oh boy! I knew I was smart!
I blame no other but time
Yes! I so blame time
It flew by so fast
Without a single warning
The fault is all time’s
I blame it for everything!
