A description of the fun had at my first-grader's spring carnival.
The School Carnival

My four year-old on a Mechinical Bull,
Her brother thinks this ride is dull.
He'd rather dunk his principal,
And do anything else at his school carnival.

They each played basketball,
And picked numbered ducks,
They made sand art for the wall,
And I spent seventeen bucks.

We did several things that were fun,
We tried everything before we were done.
Three hours later, gone went the sun,
And it rained from four in the evening until have past one.
