We are suppose to feel sorry for the homeless

I am sorry but I can not feel sorry for someone that doesn't try

The people that sit with signs "Will Work for Food"

Piss me off the most

These are the people that try the least

Most of the time they hold these signs if front of fast food places

These fast food places always have ‘Now Hiring' signs up

I just want to yell at them to go find a job you lazy bum

Begging for change so they can buy more booze

Now don't get me wrong I do feel sorry for some

They are the ones that are down on their luck

People trying to support their families

Both parents working to feed their family

But kicked out of their house

Because they feed their kids and could not afford the rent

These people don't sit with signs "Will Work for Food"

They are the people out looking for work

To put a roof over their children's heads

These are the ones I feel sorry for

Because if it wasn't for my parents

I would most likely be one of them

Working trying to keep my daughter fed and warm

I work a full time job

But could not afford to live on my own

Maybe I could afford to live on my own

But it would not be anywhere I would want to raise my kid
