Bound and Stretched

The kite
I closely hold
will fly up high
from string
bound to the earth,
stretched to the sky.

And when
I loosen it
the wind will pull
the line,
securely taut,
creating lull.

The kite
that I will fly
might coast or fall.
The wind,
breath of the sky,
determines all.

But mostly
what I need
is just to see
a lonely kite
demanding
to be free.
