Short poem I wrote a while ago about my mom.
Every moment in life counts,
So make it all worthwhile.
Treat life like your trust accounts,
Not like a disposable data file.

My life is full of love and laughter,
Including a family to admire.
I take responsibility in looking after,
The dreams of people I inspire.

My love life has not been the best.
The man I once loved broke my heart,
And left me with one last request,
To leave my home and depart.

I started over in one small town,
And fell in love once more.
Soon I bought a second wedding gown.
And once our lives settled down
We took a trip to the baby store.

Nine years later and we are still in love,
Our lives could never be any greater.

I know that every moment in life counted,
I made it all worthwhile.
I treated it like it amounted,
To thousands of trust accounts and not like data files.
