The long asending stairs

The long ascending stairs,

Lined with mirrors that show my pessimistic stare,

Each step, screams,

Each step is but a means,

To see where the top leads,

But this stairs are never ending,

Never bending,

The long ascending stairs,

Lined with mirrors, that show my ever loving care,

Fading my pessimistic stare,

I walk these stairs with care,

But these stairs never lend,

Never bend,

Themselves for loving care,

Or even a pessimistic stare,

Unwielding,

Unyielding,

These stairs are never ending,

Each step is a means,

I crawl on my hands and knees,

To see where the top leads,

But it is not about the means,

Or the ends,

But the long ascending stairs,
