Haikus together to form a longer poem
Those constrasting sounds;
The birdsong and the gunfire
Bringing mixed feelings

Of peace and wonder
At humans versus nature,
Ever battling,

Always ongoing.
Which has the stronger power?
Nature at its best

Or taming humans?
The dripping sound of the rain
From the leaf to ground

Is only mirrored
By the drip drop of thick blood
From a wound to mud.

The tranquility
And harmony of the insects
Blast aside by us.

Us knowing humans
Should allow nature wildness
And complete freedom
