You are the most beautiful thing
God has given me.
You shine with a beauty
That I have never seen,
With a light that
Makes it clear
You stand above all.

This world around me
Once so beautiful
And pure
Is now falling apart
Right where we stand,

Hatred, anger
Self pity and misery

The epitome of beauty
Of kindness

The moon and the stars
Shine all night
