Fairytale Brands

We can learn a lot from fairytales (or tails for the spelling challenged). Modern branding is about using images and known symbols as a basis of creating perceptions. When you see a really cool dude - apparently healthy - smoking a cigarette against the backdrop of rolling hills and sunny skies you get the sense of freshness that he much be experiences will puffing away.  Sadly, most of the good faces and places are taken – they are linked up to everything from face wipes to falcon jets. So we need to start looking for newer symbols, and guess what we have several unused ones in popular fairytales.
Having recently completed a reading of popular fairytales to my daughter, I noticed that there are some really famous names that have been sparingly used. Here’s a short list-

  c.Jack & Jill Stockbrokers – “We’ll take your investments uphill”
3.Jack & the Beanstalk

4.Goldilocks
