My wish for you on this special day
That I send to you from far away
Is a life of love and happiness too
That soon I'll return and share with you

Across the miles on this your day
I pause a moment just to say
I hope that every day of your life
Is full of joy and free of strife

Another year has now flown by
No time to fret, no time to sigh
But a time to thank the Lord above
For all His blessings and His gift of love

Another day, another year
At times it's more than one can bear
But do not fret or shed a tear
Just open up another beer
