rap poetry piece, covering angles on humanity, enlightenment, and cities. |
I see the last broken dawn in a concrete land, a new day of expectation awaits for me, there aint no way to save me, Im livin life by my own hand, I watch the eternal sand, now I can almost see the promised land, Somehow we’ve escaped it, now we dwell in sterile jars, we move around in metal cages, we call them cars, people live in darkness, built cages with bars, humanity is daily questioned in a space like this, people turn to chemical zombies in a painted cage like this, battle ready, hooded, twisted mentality, he waits for his zombies to line up in the ally, us youth sub-consciously develop sustained mechanisms, dark rooms at night pump out sub-bass hedonism, people self medicate with herbals, then spit verbals, tribal styles penetrate deep inside, primitive, instinctual, rhythms which penetrate mind. Organic flowing life forms trapped in uniform solidity, created by our own stupidity, concrete is not our nature, its our torture, suffering is everything in this life, it is life, they say the only way to escape it is to end life, end the strife, but it’s a weak man that ends himself, and it’s the true man that will lend himself, and bend himself, any way to help his people, the one that soars like an eagle, the one that strives to make his and others around him lives meaningful. The ancients had already clocked us, they see what’s locked us whats raped and fucked us and made us how we are now, a people striving to flower but ever caught and kept down, by a well tread hypothesis of desires which turn to needs, and a machine that we constructed which planted a new seed, the black seed of concrete and metal, of human desire, willing to tear all down in its way to reach higher. The truest definition of the word evil, something beyond human, and now we watch crying, helpless, feeble. you may be Questioning how we ever got in this position, but trust me son this is nothing but transition. Ancient mystics figured out the meaning from the beginning, they knew it all along and they’ve been waiting for us to see it, they’ve spent a Millenia waiting for the rest of us, so we can begin our last exodus. How to intertwine with and learn from the supreme nature, how to come in to contact with what it is that really made ya, Humanity as perfection, not as oppression, Suffering as your teacher, not as your leader. |
