Our planet is home to over 6.7 billion people and, unfortunately, we cannot make life fair or equal for every person, everyday. That is not the job of the United Nations, and it is most certainly not the job of the United States government. The U.S. government’s job, our congressional duty, is to look after our constituents before we look to rest of the world. By passing this bill, we will be betraying the duty placed in us by those that we were elected to represent. This bill must be negated due to the U.S. economy as well as the fundamentals of capitalism. According to the Global Policy Forum |
