The past is hunting us and brings us back into,

present divides us at three, at one or two,

we're starving and gazing at the black book,

fish without deep sea and rusted old hook.


This moment right here is all that we simply are,

tomorrow is just the shadow of another star,

let's love, let's run, let's dream and sing,

forgetting for a second that we are nothing.


Eternity is just a word, a blink, a smile,

a second chance, is feeling low, is feeling high,

is hope and fear, pain and dust, is faith and lust

the thought that something after us still last...


We are too busy for our lives, it is all speed,

the heart becomes a falling stone, concrete,

the mask becomes the second skin so full,
