Chaos

Chaos and noise
It smothers the silence that surrounds you.
Spinning and falling,
Dizzy and unable to stop,
Unsure of what happens when you do.
Uncertainty and fears
Of failure and tears.
Masked behind smiles,
Hidden from everyone.
Then, sneaking out at night
When the masks are put away.
Coming out of the shadows in the dark
And being buried again during the day.
Trying to be different just to be the same.
Trying to be the same and ending up
Different.
Unable to control what's going on
Not sure how much longer you can keep holding on.
Feeling alone,
Not realizing everyone around you feels the same.
That when their masks are gone,
They have the same pain.
That when they're all alone,
They cry the same tears.
Waiting for they day
They don't feel like they're drowning.
