My Ghost

A ghostly shadow appears, it's near.
Don't know should I panic with fear?
After me it comes I am going to run.
Is it a warning of what is to come?


Is it there for only my eyes to see?
Giving a scare and fright just to me?
It is real scary in its cloak of white.
Haunting the shadows it has at night.


Fast as it appeared suddenly it's gone.
a ghost only haunts a place of its own.
Only in that place will it ever be seen.
The ghost appeared only in my dream.


As I awake nothing seems to be near.
What was this ghost that did appear?
Is it a warning of things that are to be?
Was it just an image that wasn't seen?


Escapes out of sight in the dark night.
If it haunts me in my dreams, I'll fight.
Drive it out of my body, and soul, too.
To be ever free of this haunting I knew.
