I am here all alone, like a book on a shelf
I have been here for so long, that I am covered in dust
I have grown withdrawn, and have locked away my heart
I have seen heartache and despair, and have locked away my heart

I once was beautiful and full of grace, until my heart was locked
I once was young and desirable, until my heart was locked
I once was filled with passion and fire, until my heart was locked

I have prayed for someone to unlock my heart
I have dreamed of someone to unlock my heart
I have dreamed of you to unlock my heart

I still have love in my heart, do you hold the key to my heart
I still have passion in my heart, do you hold the key to my heart
I still have fire in my heart, do you hold the key to my heart
I still have desire in my heart, do you hold the key to my heart

You hold the key to my heart in your hands, will you handle with care
You hold the key to my heart in your hands, will you love me and cherish me
