Teenagers Life
© purpleflame

Friendships are broken and trust is withdrawn
We have a good friend, and then poof, their gone,
We want the whole world to give us a break
But then we give nothing and steal all we can take,
We give icy stares in the halls to the outcasts, just trying to fit in,
But of course, what's the use? They never, ever win.
We scream and we yell to get our own way,
Its all about us from the start of the day,
We give others fake smiles, then we talk behind their back,
I know this is bad, but hey, this is facts,
Teenagers feel the need to always come out on top
Each one competing to be the dominant dog,
A teenagers life isn’t fun, you see,
You never know how cruel the kids can be.
The gossip and insults and backstabbing two-faces,
You’ll find somebody doing it in all over places,
I know that maybe once, its been you,
But I'm not best for the judging since I’ve done it, too,
Of course, we grow up, and things improve
No longer is it about the win or the lose
But can we be patient for those days, how can we wait?
What if we’re not strong enough, then what's our fate?
Trust me, you'll survive,
And when you'll do you'll be glad your alive,
Because when the emotional roller coaster finally ends
You come out together with the truest of friends.
