-Chapter 2-

Gabriel opened his eyes, the bright light of the sun shining through his window. He looked around his room, which was usually messy, was clean and tidy, everything in it's place. He looked at himself on a mirror on his bedside table, half asleep with messy hair. Birds chirping, he grudgingly tried to get off the bed only to notice that a arm was holding him back. Ohh...

The night before

"How could you forget your own fiancé?"

His heart got stuck on his throat. She was crying again and this saddened him greatly. "My fiancé.....Lyn?" She looked up at him and smiled despite the tears rolling down her cheek. "You do remember...." She wispered this, leaning closer to him. Now I won't lie to you, his heart was like a machine gun against his chest. He'd just been reunited with the girl he's dreamed about every night.

Gabriel wiped away a tear and she leaned closer, expectant. Oh what the heck? He leaned in, embracing her lips and wrapping his arms around her as she did the same. Her soft, warm lips warmed his insides, as if his soul had been frozen all these years and Lyn had freed it from it's icy prison. It was the most heavenly feeling in the world....

It got kinda akward when they separated, Lyn's face as red as a rose. Lyn kept staring at the floor, playing around with her fingers. "Where do you live?" Gabriel asked bluntly. She looked up at him, her face now sad. "I came here with all the money I could take......my parents wanted me to marry someone else, but I just couldn't forget about you!" She jumped at him again, hugging his tighter than before. "I don't know what I can do....please..let me live with you."

The waterworks had started again and Gabriel had no choice but to agree and let her live with him. What else could he do? He would had agreed anyways. She thanked him with another kiss and he blushed. "Did you bring anything, like clothes and such?" She sais no and he told her not to worry, he had plenty of money. Tomorrow they would go out shopping for clothes.

After dinner they talked for a while, then they watched movie. When it was time to hit the hay, Gabriel told Lyn that she could sleep on the bed and he would sleep on the couch. She looked at the at the floor, fiddling with her finger. "You could...umm...sleep with me...if yo want..." She murmured, blushing. He looked at her, wondering why she wanted him to sleep with her. Surely she didn't mean....

She seemed to know what he was thinking, because her began to blush even more. "I didn't mean it that way....I'm...scared of being alone at night...please don't laugh..." He smiled. "Sure, since you put it that way."

He gave her one of the pajamas, which was a size too big for her, but she didn't mind. She slipped into the covers and he did the same. They said their good nights and sleep back to back. After a while, Lyn turned around and put her arm around his chest. If the light had been on, you could have seen her face was bright red.

Back to Present.

Gabriel tried to Houdini his way of bed, carefully slipping out of his fiancé's grasp. Once he managed to do that, he pulled the covers over her. He stayed for a while, gazing at her face, mystified by her beauty. "So pretty...." She looked so peaceful...

He moved out the room and entered his bathroom. He opened a cabinet and pulled out a pink toothbrush and put it next to his red one. He picked up the red one and began to brush his teeth. Once that was out of the way, he went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

The B and E special is what Gabriel called what he was making. He could do amazing things with bacon and eggs. Meanwhile, Lyn finally woke up. She went out the room, rubbing her eyes. "Good morning" she said before she yawned. Gabriel smiled and placed her breakfast on the table. She smiled back and looked at the master piece of a breakfast he made. "Wow this looks delicious..." she complimented. Gabriel smiled again. "There's a pink toothbrush in the bathroom." She nodded and went into the bathroom.

A minute later she came out, brushing her hair. "Gabriel...." she said hesitating. He looked at her, smiling. "Yes?" She blushed again. " Is this....all a dream?" she asked. Her eyes plead that this wouldn't be a dream, that this was true. He understood why she had asked, this was all hard to believe. "No, this isn't a dream" He responded She sighed, tears beginning to form in her striking green eyes. "Thank god. I don't know what I would have done if this had been a dream."

She was crying now and she ran to him. He hugged her, stroking her hair. She had her head against him. After she finished, she looked at him. "I'm sorry. You would never forget out promise. I'm sorry that I doubted you." She gave him a peck on the cheek and began to eat. Gabriel just stood there.
