You spend time finding a job which does not pay what is needed to put food on the table or pay the bills that are needed. So you try not to incur too many bills so you can survive in a world that really doesn’t care if you live or die. What the hell happened to people and their obligation to help others when in need (is it not mentioned in the Bible and other religious books)? So here is the situation, we live in a house where we pay $400.00 for rent without the use of a living room, a dirty kitchen, not to mention a nasty bathroom and a small bedroom which is like a glorified jail cell, a car which is falling apart and 2 cell phones which are needed to keep in touch with the real world. Now my wife has the beginning stages of cancer cells that are building in her body and we are supposed to handle this on $750.00 a month! Did I mention that we have to feed all that live here as well?

You people who have everything handed to you should be very happy your not living in my shoes because you have no idea what its like to be poor and figure out when the next shoe is going to drop or when your next meal is going to be and what it is. I used to work for a food cupboard in Old Town Maine (which probably makes no difference to you). I saw all the people who have come in and asked for help and seeing how the RICH don’t care. There is a saying “when you die you CAN”T TAKE IT WITH YOU!!!!”. So…while you still have the time, make a difference in a person’s life and maybe help them out, you won’t catch a virus or something untreatable. Then maybe God just might forgive you and spare you from the Hell fire. But until such time, go back to what you were doing, like playing your game systems and enjoying your flat screens TV, the poor will just die, but hey what do you care?!
